Location We are offering a hybrid working pattern to combine home and studio, your studio days will be in either Leeds or Manchester, depending which location is closest to home

Working Hours Full Time, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, Permanent Contract

Role purpose

As an Artwork Quality Control Specialist, your role is pivotal in maintaining the quality and accuracy of artwork and labelling for various products. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and scrutinising artwork designs, graphics, and labelling to ensure they align with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines. Your role will involve conducting detailed inspections, verifying text and visual elements, and identifying any errors, inconsistencies, or deviations that could impact product presentation or compliance. You will collaborate closely with design teams, regulatory affairs, and production departments to ensure that the final packaging artwork is not only visually appealing but also precise, compliant, and reflective of the brand’s identity. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality assurance will contribute to the overall success of product packaging.

Quality Control

  • Monitor and ensure the consistent application of quality control standards throughout the artwork creation process.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify errors, inconsistencies, or deviations in artwork and labelling.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to packaging and labelling.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of packaging artwork guidelines and best practices.

Process and Procedures

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of processes and procedures within the department
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve artwork-related issues and improve overall packaging quality.
  • Communicate any necessary revisions or corrections to relevant departments and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and resources to onboard new team members effectively.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
