As a Senior Designer at Aire Global, you will lead design projects within our creative team, crafting high-quality, impactful, and brand-centric packaging and point-of-sale designs. Your role is to create visually compelling, on-brand work that not only captures attention but also meets our clients’ strategic needs. With a mercurial creative spirit, you adapt quickly and bring expertise in presenting engaging narratives and insights that drive consumer connection, ensuring every detail in your work speaks to the core of each brand’s identity. With an eye for the meticulous and a commitment to quality, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our designs to meet the highest standards.
In this senior position, you’ll balance creativity with leadership, working across the design pillar to elevate project outcomes. Acting as a mentor to other team members, you’ll champion collaboration and innovation, encouraging a seamless flow of ideas that push boundaries. Alongside your design skills, you’ll leverage your project management expertise, managing multiple projects and timelines with ease to meet deadlines. Your confidence in presenting to clients, paired with a strategic approach to storytelling, will help ensure our work resonates with both clients and end consumers.
With a blend of creativity, adaptability, and client-focused communication, you’ll help shape and enhance our design offerings at Aire Global. This role is perfect for a dynamic, detail-oriented designer ready to drive efficiencies through innovative approaches, while passionately contributing to a team dedicated to delivering design solutions.
Skills
As a Senior Designer at Aire Global, you’ll need to demonstrate exceptional design skills specifically in packaging and point-of-sale materials. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite—particularly advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop—is essential, with additional software knowledge welcomed to support and enhance team capabilities. This role requires not only strong creative execution but also the ability to interpret strategic insights and transform them into robust, effective design solutions that align with brand objectives.
You must be adept at working within brand guidelines and knowing how and when to push, to develop high-quality, visually impactful designs that resonate with consumers and support brand strategy. Strong organisational, storytelling, and presentation skills are key, allowing you to manage multiple projects and clearly communicate your design approach. Balancing strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail, you’ll bring a confident, creative perspective that delivers on both client brief and consumer expectations.
Experience
This role requires significant experience in design, ideally within an agency environment focused on packaging and point-of-sale projects. Previous roles should reflect a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates creativity, adaptability, and the ability to produce on-brand designs that resonate with both clients and consumers. Experience leading projects from conception through to execution is highly valued, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge
A solid foundation in essential design principles should be displayed naturally – such as colour theory, typography, and layout is crucial, paired with an understanding of communication hierarchy and portfolio architecture to ensure designs are both visually compelling and strategically structured. This role also requires a clear grasp of semiotics within the packaging and point-of-sale categories, allowing you to convey meaning and align with consumer expectations through visual cues and design elements.
Additionally, a comprehensive knowledge of adaptive design processes will be important to maintain brand consistency across various formats. Success in this role is built on an awareness of industry trends, actionable market insights, and a keen understanding of consumer behaviour, enabling you to make informed, strategic decisions that achieve effective, outcome-driven results. Familiarity with print processes, and digital design tools will further support your ability to translate brand vision into relevant and impactful consumer-facing work.
Qualifications
A degree in Graphic Design, visual communication, or a related field is preferred, coupled with several years of professional experience in a design role, specifically in packaging and point-of-sale. Advanced certifications or training in other design tools, project management, or user experience design are beneficial. Membership in relevant design organisations or communities is a plus, reflecting a commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of the design industry.
