Aire Global Celebrates PAC Global Awards Nomination for Oreo Tết Festival Packaging Design!

Therefore as one of three nominations this year, we’re able to share that our limited-edition Oreo Tết Festival packaging for Mondelez International Vietnam has been nominated for the PAC Global Awards 2025, in the Brand Marketing – Specialty, Limited Edition category! 

Why this moment matters

A celebration of culture and design: Packaging is more than a visual – it’s a cultural touchpoint. For Oreo Tết, we immersed ourselves in the traditions of Vietnam’s Lunar New Year to create packaging that honours the joy of gifting while preserving Oreo’s global identity. This blend of local insight and global brand consistency is at the heart of what we do.

During Vietnam’s Tết holiday, consumers prioritise packaging that embodies cultural significance and premium quality, aligning with the festive spirit and gift-giving traditions. A survey revealed that over a third of Vietnamese consumers choose gifts based on brand name, highlighting the importance of brand recognition and perceived value in packaging design during this period.

The power of balance: How do you make Oreo’s iconic blue feel at home in the red-and-gold vibrancy of Tết? With thoughtful design choices. By weaving intricate Vietnamese motifs with modern layouts and Oreo’s playful charm, we created packaging that bridges tradition and innovation – we were able to deliver a design that not only stood out but also connected with a specific demographic.

Design that influences purchase decisions: During Tết, when gifting is central, Oreo’s standout packaging became more than a product – it became a thoughtful, celebratory gesture that strengthened its role in family traditions – capturing the joy of gifting and togetherness.

A testament to Impact: Beyond the shelf, this packaging resonated with consumers, garnered retailer buy-in, and elevated Oreo’s presence during Tết, solidifying it as more than a snack – it’s a heartfelt gift.
